Fluorinated greenhouse gases 2023

Data reported by companies on the production, import, export, destruction and feedstock use of fluorinated greenhouse gases in the European Union during the years 2007-2022. The primary data is synthesised and aggregated at EU level and used to assess the progress on HFC phase-down made under both EU legislation and the UN framework as part of the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol.

Data reported by companies under Article 19 of Regulation (EU) No 517/2014 (EU F-gas Regulation), which requires that production, import, including gases in equipment, export of bulk gases, feedstock use and destruction of the substances listed in Annexes I or II in the Regulation are reported annually before 31 March, for the previous calendar year. The Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 1191/2014 of 30/10/2014 determines the format and means for submitting the company reports.
