GovReg: National emissions reported to the UNFCCC and to the EU under the Governance Regulation, 2026 ver. 2.0

This dataset contains data on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and removals reported by countries to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and to the European Union under the Governance Regulation. It provides information on national greenhouse gas emissions and removals across different gases, sectors and years, supporting the monitoring of emission trends and progress towards climate targets.



This data set reflects the GHG inventory data for 2026 as reported under the United Nations Framework Convention for Climate Change.



The data are available in different formats. The accessible CSV file contain time series from 1990 onwards, while the database and SQLite files provide a longer historical time series starting in 1985.
